"Knowing oneself comes from attending with compassionate curiosity to what is happening within." -Dr. Gabor Maté

I believe that when we can become curious and accepting of all parts of ourselves, even the ones we're most ashamed or afraid of, we can then access a greater depth of healing and understanding than ever before. I want my clients to know that this is a safe and sacred place where every feeling and every body is welcomed. I am here to partner with them and guide them into honoring their stories, finding their healing, and learning how to embrace and love their truest, most authentic selves.

My therapeutic style is a holistic and person-centered approach. I integrate elements from self-compassion and polyvagal theory, while using tools like mindfulness, parts work (Internal Family Systems), Brainspotting, and EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy). I hold the belief that my clients are ultimately the experts on themselves and their stories. My place as the therapist is to walk alongside them in this journey. Areas that I typically work with are: depression, anxiety, complex trauma, grief and loss, attachment wounds and couples work. As a bi-racial person, I also welcome those working through issues of identity and belonging. I understand the complexity those spaces involve and honor the safe space it requires.

I hold a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University and am trained in Level I Brainspotting. When I’m not in the therapy space, a good cup of tea, a long walk in nature with my partner, and cuddles with my cats can instantly remedy any hard day for me. Give me all the books, music, art, and any conversation that takes us deep into our feelings and why life is so beautiful, tragic, and mysterious.
